We have designed this program based on common training issues seen in our in-home private training sessions. Our mission is to teach dogs skills that will make them easier to live with and to teach people how to communicate better with their dogs.

It is our hope that you will appreciate the work your dog has put in during training and will understand how you can continue that training and the resources that will be available to you.

These questions help us understand what your experience with dogs and training are prior to adopting your dog from this program.

C.A.R.E. Passport

These questions will be only related to the 10 skills tested for the C.A.R.E. Passport which is a new program in conjunction with Puppies for Parole and Northeast Missouri Humane Society. The program included exercises that tested how well the dogs walked around distractions and other dogs and people, settling on a mat, reactions to noises, accepting veterinary restraint, the beginning of muzzle training, waiting at a doorway, and coming when called.
